Autumn Equinox Dance

AUTUMN EQUINOX DANCE CEREMONY
You are warmly invited to join us in the dancing spirit of the Equinox.
The Autumn Equinox marks a moment of balance — where light and dark meet in equal measure. Where summer invites us to shine outward, autumn invites us to come home to ourselves.
The Equinox reminds us that both light and darkness live within us — not as opposites to fix, but as energies to listen to and honour.
In the words of Arkan Lushwala, there is a special goodness in what he calls the “dark light.” Like two sides of a precious coin, both the bright and the shadowed places in us carry wisdom when we are willing to meet them with presence.
Rather than a fixed state of balance, the Equinox invites us into the living dance between yin and yang, stillness and movement, effort and surrender.
In this ceremony, we create space to slow down and come home to the body. Through movement, gentle ritual, and moments of stillness, we listen for what is ready to be released, what is ready to be gathered, and what new possibilities may be emerging.
Together we reconnect with the felt presence of Great Spirit and with the strength that comes from moving in rhythm with the season.
Our intention is to support you to reconnect with your natural rhythm, release what has grown heavy, and be held in the steady strength of community.
You are welcome exactly as you are — with your light, your darkness, and the living breath that holds them both.
WHAT TO EXPECT
A full-day immersion into dance, ceremony, the elements, and community
Two dance rounds: one where you move, and one where you witness and hold the field

Optional plant allies for those who wish to deepen their connection
THE SETTING
A beautiful, spacious garden in Orchards where you can move freely, held by nature and the soft turning of the season.
THE INVITATION
