Winter Solstice Dance Ceremony
June 20 @ 11:00 am – 7:00 pm

WINTER SOLSTICE DANCE CEREMONY
Winter Solstice is a time of deep listening and introspection. It is the longest night of the year and also carries the first subtle turning back towards the light. This ancient threshold invites us to pause, breathe, and listen more deeply to the rhythms of nature and the cycles of our own lives.
In a world that often asks us to keep moving, winter reminds us of another way — to slow down, gather together, and tend the inner fire.
In this ceremony, we come together in community through dance, music, prayer, silence, and shared presence. Together we enter the heart of the darkness, moving through fear and into the fertile ground where new life begins to emerge.
There is something deeply healing about gathering with others in the darker season — creating warmth, connection, and remembering that even in winter, light lives within and between us.
As we move together, we honour our grief, our dreams, our longing, and the deeper parts of ourselves waiting to emerge. We remember that we are not alone, but part of a larger web of life, held by community, nature, and the ancient rhythms that continue to move through us.
